THE MODEL

## What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 is the newest video generation model in ByteDance's Seedance family. Its headline change over Seedance 2.0 is length: one generation can run up to 30 seconds as a single continuous take, with the camera, the subject and the sound all produced together instead of stitched from separate short clips.

The model is built for reference-heavy work. At the provider level it accepts up to 50 reference assets in one request, follows instructions more closely than earlier versions, and can edit or extend an existing video. On AI Content Drop you use it through a simpler path: a text prompt, or a text prompt plus one starting image, rendered at 480p or 720p.

### Developed by ByteDance

Seedance is the video model line from ByteDance, the company behind TikTok and CapCut. AI Content Drop is an independent platform that offers Seedance 2.5 generation alongside other video and image models, billed from one credit balance.

### One take, up to 30 seconds

Earlier Seedance versions topped out at 15 seconds. Seedance 2.5 renders 4 to 30 seconds in one pass, so a product story, a creator vlog moment or a slow reveal can play out without a hard cut in the middle.

### Flexible referencing

The model can take images, video clips and audio as references: up to 30 images, 10 videos totalling 30 seconds, and 10 audio clips totalling 30 seconds. It can also edit an existing video or extend it forward and backward. Those advanced workflows are model capabilities, not part of this page's generator, which takes text or one starting image.

### Sound generated with the picture

Seedance 2.5 produces ambience, effects and speech in the same render as the visuals, with dialogue supported in more than ten languages. Every 2.5 example on this page plays with the audio the model produced.

ON AI CONTENT DROP

## What you can render here

This is the exact Seedance 2.5 configuration available on AI Content Drop today. Pick a length from 4 to 30 seconds and a resolution of 480p or 720p; the credit cost is 3 credits per second at 480p and 6 credits per second at 720p, always rounded up to a whole credit.

| Length | 480p | 720p |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 4 seconds | 12 credits | 24 credits |
| 5 seconds | 15 credits | 30 credits |
| 10 seconds | 30 credits | 60 credits |
| 15 seconds | 45 credits | 90 credits |
| 20 seconds | 60 credits | 120 credits |
| 30 seconds | 90 credits | 180 credits |

### Resolution: 480p or 720p

The 2.5 lane here renders at 480p or 720p. It does not offer 1080p or 4K. If you need a higher output resolution, Seedance 2.0 Pro on this platform renders 1080p and has a dedicated 4K option.

### Length: 4 to 30 seconds

Choose any whole-second length from 4 to 30. Longer takes cost proportionally more, so a 10-second 720p clip is 60 credits while a 30-second one is 180. Most ads and short-form posts land between 10 and 20 seconds.

### Inputs: text, or text plus one image

Write a prompt, or add a JPG, PNG or WebP under 20 MB as the starting frame. Video references, audio references, editing and extension are not offered through this page.

### Plan minimums

A free account includes 10 credits, and the smallest 2.5 render (4 seconds at 480p) costs 12, so Seedance 2.5 needs a paid plan. Starter at $19 a month includes 150 credits; larger credit slots are available on every plan.

TEXT TO VIDEO

## Seedance 2.5 text to video

Text to video is the default mode on this page. You describe the subject, the setting, the camera and the sound, set a length and resolution, and the model produces the whole take. Seedance 2.5 responds well to prompts that read like a shot description rather than a list of keywords.

### Describe the whole take

Because one render can last 30 seconds, write the beginning, the middle and the end. Say what is in frame first, what changes, and what the final frame should hold. A prompt that only describes a single still tends to produce a static clip.

### Pace with stages, not stopwatch numbers

Set the total length in the controls, then organise events inside it in order: first this, then that, finally this. The model allocates time across the stages. Packing too many events into a short length causes rushed cuts or dropped beats.

### Name the camera, the light and the sound

One sentence each is enough: a slow push-in or a handheld follow, warm window light or overcast grey, room tone or street noise. Leaving these out means the model chooses for you, which is fine for exploration and less fine for a brand shot.

IMAGE TO VIDEO

## Seedance 2.5 image to video

Switch the composer to Image to video, add one starting image, and describe the motion you want to grow out of it. The image becomes the first frame, so the product, the character and the framing you upload are what the clip opens on.

### Your image sets the first frame

With a starting image the model locks the output to that image's aspect ratio and composition. Upload a clean, well-lit frame at the shape you want to publish: vertical for Shorts and Reels, landscape for YouTube and web.

### Prompt the motion, not the picture

The image already describes the scene, so the prompt should describe what happens: the camera drifts left, the model turns toward the lens, steam rises from the cup. Restating what is visible in the image wastes the instruction budget.

### Product shots and portraits

Image to video is the practical route for product photography that needs a few seconds of motion, and for character clips where the look is already decided. You must hold the rights to any image you upload.

THREE STEPS

## How to use Seedance 2.5 on AI Content Drop

There is no waitlist and no separate API account to set up. The page you are on prepares the brief; the studio renders it once you have a plan.

### 1. Prepare your brief

Choose a length and resolution in the settings bar, then open the composer to write a prompt or attach a starting image. The credit quote updates as you change settings, so you always know the cost before committing.

### 2. Choose a plan

Every plan card shows how many videos at your current settings its monthly credits fund. Sign in, complete checkout, and your prompt and settings are carried into the studio unchanged.

### 3. Generate and download

Review the brief in the studio, generate, and download the finished MP4 with its audio. Credits are charged only when the generation succeeds, so a failed render does not cost you anything.

WHICH ONE

## Seedance 2.5 vs Seedance 2.0

Both models are available on AI Content Drop and draw from the same credit balance. They are tuned for different jobs: 2.5 for longer continuous scenes at 480p or 720p, 2.0 Pro for shorter clips where 1080p or 4K output matters.

| | Seedance 2.5 | Seedance 2.0 |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Clip length here | 4–30 seconds | 4–15 seconds |
| Resolution here | 480p or 720p | 720p, 1080p, or dedicated 4K on Pro |
| Audio | Generated with the video | Generated with the video |
| Inputs here | Text, or text plus one image | Text, or text plus one image |
| Pricing model | Per second: 3 credits at 480p, 6 at 720p | Flat per video: Pro 56, 4K 84, Mini 22, Fast 22 |
| 10 seconds at 720p | 60 credits | 22 credits on Mini or Fast, 56 on Pro |
| Best for | Long takes, stories, vlogs, slow reveals | Detailed short clips, 4K masters, budget drafts |

### Choose Seedance 2.5 when

The idea needs more than 15 seconds to land, you want one continuous camera move instead of cuts, or you are publishing to feeds where 720p is the delivery resolution anyway.

### Choose Seedance 2.0 when

You need a 1080p or 4K master, the shot is short and detail-heavy, or you want to draft cheaply with Mini and Fast at 22 credits per video before spending on a longer 2.5 take.

### One balance, both models

Credits are shared across every model on the platform, so you can draft on 2.0 Mini, finish on 2.5, and generate images for the same campaign without switching plans.

STARTER PROMPTS

## Seedance 2.5 prompt examples

Six starter prompts written for the 30-second format. Each describes a beginning, a middle and an end, names the camera and the light, and leaves the length and resolution to the controls. Use one as it is, or as a template for your own scene.

### Café product story (20 seconds)

A ceramic coffee cup on a café counter at sunrise. Begin close on espresso pouring into the cup, follow the barista carrying it past the pastry display, then settle on the cup beside a sunlit window. A smooth camera move, natural café ambience, warm light throughout.

### Creator desk setup (15 seconds)

A creator walks into a bright home studio, places a canvas tote on the desk, and unpacks a notebook, a camera, and a reusable bottle. A relaxed continuous camera move follows each action. Soft daylight, natural room sounds, casual documentary style.

### Mountain reveal (30 seconds)

Follow a lone hiker along a misty mountain trail at dawn. The camera moves from a close view of boots on wet stone to a side profile, then slowly reveals the valley as the hiker reaches a lookout. Consistent cool morning light, drifting cloud, and quiet wind.

### Skincare ad (15 seconds)

A frosted glass serum bottle on a white marble bathroom shelf in soft morning light. Start on a slow orbit around the bottle as a single drop forms at the dropper, cut to a hand applying two dots to a cheek in a mirror, and finish on the bottle centred with the label sharp. Clean, quiet ambience, no music.

### Sneaker street shot (20 seconds)

A runner in white trainers at a rain-soaked city crossing at night. Open low on the shoes splashing through a shallow puddle, track alongside at knee height as neon reflections slide across the wet asphalt, then rise to a wide shot of the runner crossing under a green light. Street noise and distant traffic.

### Short-film opening (30 seconds)

Night at the gates of an ancient city. Massive doors open as an army moves past the camera, revealing a black-armored commander standing still in the flow. End with a slow ember-lit close-up. Torchlight, amber highlights and carefully paced movement.

WHAT PEOPLE MAKE

## Seedance 2.5 use cases

The 30-second ceiling changes what the model is good for. Formats that used to need three or four stitched clips now fit in one generation.

### Video ads

A 15 to 20 second ad with a product reveal, a use moment and an end frame in one continuous take. Draft at 480p for 45 to 60 credits, then re-render the winner at 720p.

### Shorts and Reels

Vertical 9:16 clips for TikTok, Shorts and Reels where 720p is the delivery resolution. One 30-second take can carry a whole hook, body and payoff.

### Product demos

Start from a product photo and let the camera move around it, then into a usage moment. Image to video keeps the product you photographed as the first frame.

### Short film and story scenes

Establishing shots, slow reveals and character moments that need time to breathe. The examples on this page came from our own film experiments with the model.

PRICING

## Seedance 2.5 pricing on AI Content Drop

There is no per-second bill and no separate Seedance subscription. Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation, and every Seedance 2.5 render draws from it at 3 credits per second at 480p or 6 credits per second at 720p. The table shows the base credit slot of each plan; larger slots are available.

| Plan | Monthly price | Credits | 10 s at 480p | 10 s at 720p | 30 s at 720p |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | $19 ($14 billed annually) | 150 | 5 videos | 2 videos | 0 |
| Professional | $49 ($29 billed annually) | 450 | 15 videos | 7 videos | 2 videos |
| Ultra | $99 ($69 billed annually) | 1,000 | 33 videos | 16 videos | 5 videos |
| Business | $299 ($199 billed annually) | 3,500 | 116 videos | 58 videos | 19 videos |

### Charged on success only

Your balance must cover the quote before a job starts, and credits are deducted when the video is delivered. A generation that fails costs nothing, which is why there is no refund process.

### Annual billing

Annual plans are billed once a year at the lower monthly rate shown in brackets, and they are the plans that carry the one-time Seedance 2.5 unlimited windows described below.

### What is not included

1080p and 4K output are not offered on the 2.5 lane. Video and audio references, editing and extension are not offered through this page. Credits refresh monthly and other actions on the platform draw from the same balance.

UNLIMITED WINDOWS

## Seedance 2.5 unlimited windows and free trial

People search for a Seedance 2.5 free trial or an unlimited Seedance plan. Here is what exists on AI Content Drop, with the limits stated plainly.

### Is there a free trial?

Preparing a prompt and comparing plans is free. A free account includes 10 credits, which is fewer than the 12 credits of the smallest Seedance 2.5 render, so generating with 2.5 requires a paid plan.

### What an unlimited window is

A one-time period after purchase during which Seedance 2.5 renders inside the window's limits do not use credits. On annual plans the window configuration is 1 day and 6 renders on Professional, 3 days and 18 renders on Ultra, and 7 days and 22 renders on Business, with each render up to 10, 15 or 20 seconds at 720p. The plan cards on this page show the exact window for your billing choice.

### Fair-use limits

A window ends after its day count or when its render allowance is used, whichever comes first. It does not restart at renewal. A render longer or larger than the window's limits uses credits as normal.

### After the window

Your monthly credits carry on exactly as before: 3 credits per second at 480p, 6 at 720p. Nothing about the plan changes when the window closes.

A FEW THINGS, CLEARED UP

## Good questions.
*Straight answers.*

Need a hand?
[Talk to our team](https://aicontentdrop.com/contact)

How does the $5 first month work?

The monthly Starter offer costs $5 for the first month with 300 credits, then renews at $29 every month with the same monthly credit allocation. New subscribers only: accounts with a previous paid subscription are not eligible. This is a paid subscription, not a free trial. Annual billing uses the normal annual price shown and does not include this introductory month.

What does Seedance 2.5 Unlimited include?

These are one-time launch windows with fair-use limits. On monthly plans they apply when you subscribe within 3 hours of creating your account: Ultra: 3 days, up to 5 included renders, each up to 10 seconds at 720p; Business: 7 days, up to 8 included renders, each up to 15 seconds at 720p. Annual plans include the full windows: Business: 14 days, up to 22 included renders, each up to 20 seconds at 720p. The window ends when its time or render allowance is exhausted and does not restart at renewal. Longer clips and other models use credits. After the window ends, further generations use your normal credit balance.

Can I prepare a video for free?

Yes. You can write your prompt and choose settings before subscribing. Generating requires a paid subscription with sufficient credits or an eligible included launch render. Even the shortest credit-based 4-second 480p render uses 12 credits, more than the free account's 10-credit allocation.

How long can Seedance 2.5 videos be?

Seedance 2.5 generates 4 to 30 seconds in a single take. On AI Content Drop you choose any whole-second length in that range; the credit quote scales with the length you pick.

Which AI can generate a 30-second video?

Seedance 2.5 is one of the few video models that renders a continuous 30-second clip with audio in one pass. Most other models on the platform, including Seedance 2.0, stop at 15 seconds or less per generation.

Does Seedance 2.5 make 1080p or 4K video here?

No. On AI Content Drop the Seedance 2.5 lane renders at 480p or 720p. Seedance 2.0 Pro on this platform renders 1080p and has a dedicated 4K option if you need a higher-resolution master.

Can I use my own images?

Yes. Switch the composer to Image to video and add one JPG, PNG or WebP under 20 MB as the starting frame. You must hold the rights to the image. Multi-image, video and audio references are not offered through this page.

Is Seedance 2.5 Chinese?

Seedance 2.5 is developed by ByteDance, a company headquartered in Beijing that also owns TikTok and CapCut. AI Content Drop is an independent platform that offers the model to customers worldwide; your account and payment are with AI Content Drop.

Does my subscription renew, and how do I cancel?

Your subscription renews at the monthly or annual amount shown. Manage or cancel renewal in your account's Billing or Subscription section, or contact support@aicontentdrop.com if you need help. Review the checkout total and Terms of Use before purchasing.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Our Terms of Use permit commercial use of generated content, subject to their restrictions. You must hold the necessary rights to uploaded images and other inputs and respect third-party rights. Generated content does not carry a guarantee of copyright clearance.

What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 is a video generation model from ByteDance. On AI Content Drop, this flow supports text-to-video and image-to-video with 4–30 second durations at 480p or 720p.

How much does a 30-second video cost?

A 30-second video uses 90 credits at 480p or 180 credits at 720p. Choose an allocation with at least that many credits; the plan cards show how many videos your selection can fund. A 30-second clip exceeds the duration limits of the included launch windows and uses credits.

Can I make shorter videos too?

Yes. Choose a duration from 4 to 30 seconds. Seedance 2.5 uses 3 credits per second at 480p and 6 credits per second at 720p. For example, 10 seconds at 720p is 60 credits, while 10 seconds at 480p is 30 credits.

Does this page support video editing or audio references?

This purchase flow prepares text or a starting image for video generation. Video editing, clip extension, and video or audio reference uploads are not offered through this landing page. Examples from other workflows are labeled with their provenance.

Should I choose Seedance 2.0 or 2.5?

Choose Seedance 2.5 here for clips up to 30 seconds at 480p or 720p. Choose Seedance 2.0 Pro when you want the 1080p or dedicated 4K options offered by this platform. Both use the same subscription credit balance.

When are credits charged?

Your credit balance must cover the quote before generation begins. Seedance credits are charged when generation succeeds. Choosing a plan and completing checkout never starts a video automatically.

Is Seedance 2.5 free?

Preparing a prompt is free. Generating requires a paid subscription, with either sufficient credits or an eligible included launch render. Each launch window has the render, duration, resolution, and time limits shown on its plan card; it is not an unbounded generation allowance.

Is this the official Seedance website?

No. Seedance is developed by ByteDance. AI Content Drop is an independent platform where you can access supported Seedance generation options. Your account and subscription here are with AI Content Drop.
