Kling AI pricing is three different price lists wearing one name. Kling sells memberships in its own app, sells credits on top of them, and sells API access to developers by the second, and none of the three publishes the number a buyer actually needs: what one finished video costs. This guide does that arithmetic for every channel, including the flat credit cost on AI Content Drop, and shows where the three diverge.

Every figure below is traceable. Kling's membership prices and credit allowances come from its membership page, its per-generation credit costs from its own VIDEO 3.0 credit guide, its API rates from its developer pricing page, and its credit-purchase rate from its credits policy, all read on September 5, 2026. ## Kling AI price at a glance

On AI Content Drop, every Kling lane is a flat credit cost per generation regardless of clip length, shown before you press generate. Credits are pooled across every model on the platform, so a Kling render and a Veo render draw from the same balance.

The two numbers most people are looking for: a Kling 3.0 clip is **22 credits**, and the cheapest way to run Kling here is **11 credits** on 2.5 Turbo. On Kling's own channels the same clip is metered by the second on the API, from **$0.084** to **$0.42** a second, or by a per-clip credit charge in the app, from **30 credits** for a five-second draft. The rest of this guide converts all of that into a per-video figure.

## How Kling AI pricing actually works: three channels

Kling meters compute, not clips, and it exposes that compute through three channels that price the same generation differently.

- Membership.
  
  A monthly or annual plan in the Kling app grants a pool of credits each month. Every generation deducts credits according to model, resolution, duration, and features.
- Credit top-ups.
  
  Kling's credits policy sets the purchase rate at

- API.
  
  Developers buy units at a list price of

Third-party platforms, this one included, sit on top of the API and turn per-second metering into their own credit structure. That is why a headline "Kling price" is never one number, and why cost per finished video is the only comparison that holds across channels.

## Kling's membership plans

Kling's membership page lists four paid tiers. The regular monthly price, the discounted first month, and the effective monthly price on annual billing are all shown on the page; the table gives all three.

One reading trap on Kling's page: the "100 Credits = $1.06" figure shown under Standard is computed on the *first-month* price of $6.99, not the $10 you pay from month two. At the regular monthly price, Standard credits cost $1.52 per hundred, Pro $1.23, Premier $1.15, and Ultra $0.69. Only Ultra gets within reach of the a-la-carte rate of $1.52 per hundred implied by $1 = 66 credits, which is the point of the tier ladder. ## What one generation costs in the Kling app

Kling's own VIDEO 3.0 credit guide, published July 28, 2026, gives the per-generation charges that turn those pools into clips, and adds a 4K rate of 30 credits per second. Multiplying by the regular monthly cost per credit gives the implied price of one clip on each tier.

## Kling API pricing per second

The developer channel prices the same models per second of output. At the $0.14 list unit, the flagship rows on Kling's developer pricing page are:

Per clip, a 10-second Kling 3.0 render without audio costs $0.84 at 720p, $1.12 at 1080p, and $4.20 at 4K on the API; with native audio, $1.26 and $1.68 at 720p and 1080p. Resolution moves the bill far more than duration does: 4K is five times the 720p rate on every row that offers it. Prepaid packages run from $700 for 5,000 units at list to $7,560 for 60,000 units at the discounted $0.126, so the API only makes sense above a few hundred dollars a month of generation. ## Kling cost per finished video on every AI Content Drop plan

Plan price divided by monthly credits gives a cost per credit; multiplied by the lane's credit cost, it gives the implied cost of one video here. These are the numbers the pricing table implies but does not print.

In Kling 3.0 clips per month from base credits alone: 6 on Starter, 20 on Professional, 45 on Ultra, and 159 on Enterprise Max. On 2.5 Turbo the same plans give 13, 40, 90, and 318. The free tier's 10 credits sit one credit below the 11-credit Turbo lane, so no Kling lane runs on the free tier. Credits can be topped up on every plan and annual billing lowers the cost per credit, so these counts are floors.

## A 10-second Kling 3.0 clip, side by side

Put the channels next to each other for the format most people want, a single 10-second Kling 3.0 clip at 1080p without audio:

Raw per-clip cost favours Kling's own channels for short clips, and the honest reading is that a Kling-only workflow at volume is cheapest inside Kling. The flat lane here prices differently: 22 credits buys up to 15 seconds, so at full length the implied rate on Professional is $0.16 a second against $0.112 on the API and the credit charge does not climb with resolution or audio. What you are paying for on top is one balance across Kling, Veo, Seedance, and the rest, no $700 package, and no second subscription.
